The União das Freguesias de Carva e Vilares is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Murça in northern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Carva and Vilares .

Vilares became the seat of the new administration.
