The Valouse is a river in France that runs in the Dordogne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the municipality of Saint-Pierre-de-Frugie , the source is on the Limoges - Périgueux railway line , about a kilometer away from the Bussières-Galant train station . The river generally drains from southwest to south through the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park and flows directly past the Maison du Parc park administration , which is located in the hamlet of La Barde in the municipality of La Coquille . After 24 kilometers, the Valouse joins the Isle as a right tributary in the municipality of Saint-Paul-la-Roche .
