Frank Van Deren Coke
Frank Van Deren Coke (born July 4, 1921 in Lexington , Kentucky , † July 11, 2004 in Albuquerque , New Mexico ) was an American photographer, scientist and museum director.
He was the founding director of the University of New Mexico Art Museum. In 1970, Beaumont Newhalls ' final year in office, he became the assistant director and in 1971 director of the George Eastman House . From 1979 to 1987 he was director of the photography department at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art .
