Vander Luiz Silva Souza (born April 17, 1990 in Salvador ), also simply called Vander , is a Brazilian soccer player who is currently under contract with the Thai first division club Bangkok United .

Career

Vander learned to play football at EC Bahia , with whom he signed his first contract in 2010. He signed a 2 year contract. After 33 games in 2010 he became after 2011 Rio de Janeiro to the resident club Flamengo hired. Here he was only used twice. In 2013 he went to Salvador to the local club EC Vitória to sign a 3-year contract. In 2014 he was awarded to Associação Portuguesa de Desportos , an association based in São Paulo . After his contract with EC Vitória ended, he went to Asia in 2017 . Here he signed a contract with the Thai first division club Chiangrai United , a club in northern Thailand . Here he played 29 games and scored 5 goals. He has been under contract with league rivals Bangkok United since 2018 .
