Vanessa Grimberg (born January 28, 1993 in Stuttgart ) is a German breaststroke swimmer and multiple German champion.

The 1.76 m tall student swims for SB Schwaben Stuttgart, in the starting community SV Region Stuttgart. Your trainer is Jan König. The former club was TSV Ludwigsburg .

After success in youth, Grimberg won her first German championship at the German Short Course Championships 2011 in Wuppertal over 200 m in 2: 24.39 minutes. (Age group record for 17 year olds). In 2014 she added the win of the 200 m in 2: 23.24 to the victory over 50 m in 31.02 seconds. In 2015 she won the 100 m chest in 1: 06.12 minutes and the 200 m in 1: 06.12 minutes.

In 2013 , 2014 and 2015 she won the long track in Berlin over 200 m (2: 28.05, 2: 26.54, 2: 26.45). In 2015, she also won the 100 m in 1: 08.12.

Her appearances at the European Short Course Championships 2012 in Chartres (10th 100 m, 14th 50m, 15th 200m chest) and 2013 in Herning (9th over 100m) were less successful .

Grimberg was also qualified for the 2014 Short Course World Championships in Doha, but no Germans reached a final over the chest courses. Her times at the DM 2015 meant meeting the standards for the 2015 World Swimming Championships in Kazan, where she achieved her best placement in the semi-finals over 200 m with rank 14. At the European Short Course Championships 2015 in Netanya , she took fourth place over 200 m.
