Vasilis Konstantinidis

Vasilis Konstantinidis (born December 7, 1987 ) is a former Greek weightlifter .

Career

Konstantinidis won the bronze medal in snatching at the 2001 European Junior Championships in Kalmar . Among the active, he reached third place in the class up to 105 kg at the 2004 EU championships in Budapest . At the European Championships in 2006 in Władysławowo , he was fifth. In 2007 he took part in the World Championships in Chiang Mai , but had no valid attempt in pushing. During a training check in 2008, Konstantinidis and ten other members of the Greek national team tested positive and then banned from the world association IMF for two years.
