Vaterland live 01/02 is the live version of the studio album (2001) by singer and songwriter Konstantin Wecker . It was recorded on the 2001/2002 Vaterland tour.

Origin and content

After the studio CD Vaterland was released the day before the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 , Wecker was able to react to the events during the tour. First he brings an updated version of his Willy - now the fourth. In the subsequent song Amerika he points out that he wrote it back in the spring of 2001. Six other songs from the Vaterland CD are used for the live version. Wecker introduces the song Wehdam with an explanation of the word he found in the German-American writer Oskar Maria Graf . The album is supplemented with six older songs, while he still invites the earth seamlessly into I always live on the beach .
