Sven Faller

Sven Faller (* 1969 in Bad Kreuznach ) is a German jazz musician ( double bass , composition ).

Faller began studying music at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz with bassist Adelhard Roidinger ; This was followed by studies in double bass in Munich. In 1997 he graduated from Mannes College of Music in New York .

Faller played in the US with Jane Monheit , Randy Brecker , Jay Berliner and John Patitucci ; back in Germany he worked in the live bands of Konstantin Wecker , Scott Hamilton , Philip Catherine , Larry Coryell , Don Menza , Robby Ameen and Charlie Mariano . From 2005 he belonged to the trio ELF with Gerwin Eisenhauer and Walter Lang , with whom several albums were created until 2013. Together with the singer Stefanie Boltz he forms the duo Le Bang Bang , with whom he has released four albums.
