European Basketball Championship 2011 / Division B
The B Division was lower in two-stage qualification system for the 2011 European Championships . In 2011, Division B comprised 13 European national basketball teams. Among them are 10 teams that played in Division B in 2009 and did not advance there. In Division A in 2009 , the Estonian and Czech national teams were relegated to Division B. As the 13th team, Azerbaijan took part in a qualification for the European Championship for the first time since 2003. Denmark , Ireland and Iceland as participants in 2009 did not participate this time. The 13 teams were drawn in three groups of four or five teams. Division B games took place from August 8 to August 24, 2010.
Qualifying Round
The teams played in 3 groups (A, B, C). The 3 group first and the best group second should qualify for the play-off games for promotion to Division A.

Promotion Games (Qualification Games)
In promotion games, the three group winners and the best group runner-up should play two promoted teams in division A in pairs. Since the division into divisions A and B was not continued, the originally planned promotion games were omitted.
