The Estonian national basketball team for men is a selection of Estonian basketball players . She represents the Estonian Basketball Federation on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national federations, but also at the European championships of the European continental federation ULEB or at the world championships of the world federation FIBA as well as in the basketball competitions of the Summer Olympic Games .

The first international game with Estonian participation took place on August 7, 1936 as part of the I. Olympic basketball tournament in Berlin against France . There they took ninth place, the best Olympic placement at the Olympic Games to date . The greatest successes to date were two 5th places at the European Basketball Championships in 1937 and 1939 .
