The Moldovan national basketball team represents the Republic of Moldova in men's international basketball matches, such as international tournaments and friendly matches.

The team has not yet been able to qualify for World Championships, Olympic Games or European Championships.

history

The Moldovan national team joined FIBA in 1992 . Since then one has not been able to qualify for an international tournament.

The team took part in the FIBA European Championships for small countries five times, finishing second in both 2008 and 2012.
