history

The national team of Denmark joined FIBA in 1951 . In the same year of joining, the team took part in the 1951 European Championship in France . Of the total of seven games, the Danes were only able to win two and finished in 14th place. At the EM in 1953 in the USSR , the team did not win a single one of eight games and finished 16th and last. Two years later, at the 1955 European Championships in Hungary , all eight games were lost again, including the game for 17th place against Germany with 49:51.
