The Welsh national basketball team represents Wales in men's international basketball games, such as international tournaments and friendly matches.

The team has not yet qualified for any international tournament.

The Welsh national basketball team has been a member of FIBA since 1956 and has not yet been able to qualify for a major international tournament.

As part of the British national team you were qualified for the European Championships in 2009 , 2011 and 2013 . The same goes for the 2012 Olympic Games , where you were automatically placed as the host.

One of the most famous Welsh basketball players was Stuart Robbins , who played for the national team for eight years and played for Bayern Munich and the Kaiserslautern Braves , among others .
