The national basketball team of Gibraltar represents Gibraltar in basketball -Länderspielen of Lords, as in international tournaments and friendly matches.

The team has not yet qualified for the Olympic Games, World Championships or European Championships.

history

The national basketball team of Gibraltar has been a member of FIBA Europe since 1985 and has so far only participated in competitions that were introduced for small states. The team has taken part 13 times in the FIBA European Championships for small countries . The best ranking achieved was fourth place in 1998.

In addition, the basketball team also takes part in the Island Games , where the bronze medal 2001 achieved the best result of the six participations so far.
