The Maltese national basketball team represents Malta in men's international basketball matches, such as international tournaments and friendly matches.

The team has not yet qualified for the Olympic Games, World Championships or European Championships.

history

The national team of Malta joined FIBA in 1967 . The team has not yet been able to participate in a major tournament. For this they won the bronze medal twice at the FIBA European Championships for small countries , in 2010 and 2012. In addition, the team won a silver medal and two bronze medals for Malta at the games of the small states of Europe .
