Jo Barnikel
Jo Barnikel (born February 25, 1959 ) is a German pianist , keyboard player and film composer . He was best known as the musical accompanist of Konstantin Wecker .
Life
Johannes Barnikel completed a classical music course at the Nuremberg Conservatory with a major in piano. In 1993 he became the musical accompanist of Konstantin Wecker, later also of Hannes Wader and Reinhard Mey .
He made recordings, concerts, tours and TV shows with, among others, Till Brönner , Peter Herbolzheimer , Barbara Thompson and Jon Hiseman , Ulla Meinecke , Udo Jürgens , René Kollo and Siegfried Jerusalem , Angelika Milster and the chanson cabaret artist Tom Haydn and Hakim Ludin . He also worked with the musician and cabaret artist Klaus Karl-Kraus , the guitarist Andreas Blüml and the saxophonist Norbert Nagel .
