action

In his own Hotel Ritz, Sophie is mistaken for Johannes as the expected temporary waiter and quickly trained in the supposed task. Johannes gets involved and gets to know the hotel business and the employees from a new perspective. And he falls in love with Sophie, not realizing that she is in a relationship with Alain Tavernier, who wants to buy the hotel.

Reviews

“A script written by Christoph Darnstädt, which is not overly original in terms of history, but is very brisk and entertaining, which promptly won the 'German Television Prize' a year later. The mixture makes for 90 charming minutes, which unfortunately come to an abrupt end. "

- Frank Ehrlacher, Moviemaster.de

“Fairytale-like, trivial (television) comedy that shamelessly copies relevant movie role models. Some sympathy for the film germinates from the solid actors. "

Awards

Christoph Darnstädt was awarded the German Television Prize 2005 for the best book (television film) for the film. Actor Mišel Matičević was in the same year for his performance in this film and Hotte in Paradise as Best Actor (TV movie) nominated.
