Bernd Stegemann (born January 9, 1949 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Stegemann completed his acting training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . In 1985 he left the GDR. From 1985 to 1993 he was part of the permanent ensemble of the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus . Since 1992 he has worked in a variety of roles in TV and cinema productions. In 2004 he played the bailiff in the film Alles auf Zucker by Dani Levy and was seen in November 2007 in the ARD multi-part Contergan as a company spokesman. In the 2008 Stefan Aust film adaptation of The Baader Meinhof Complex , he played Hanns Martin Schleyer .

Stegemann lives in Blankenfelde-Mahlow near Berlin and was married to the actress Renate Krößner from 2005 until her death in May 2020 .
