Beautiful widows kiss better is a two-part comedy film by Carlo Rola from 2004. The literary film adaptation, written by the screenwriter Ellen Beck , is based on a novel by the writer Gundula Leni Ohngemach . In an extraordinary length of 184 minutes for a film comedy, Iris Berben embodies the role of the impostor Corinna.
action
Corinna, a well-known fraudster in the city, is a person who likes to mingle with the beautiful and rich to steal what is possible there. However, she is not entirely satisfied with her life, as it only ever happens between forced stays in prisons or the greatest luxury.
She decides to change the way she lives. It should be an honest life, without attempting to cheat and without cheating. When she leaves her significant other and leaves her alone without a penny, this change of heart turns out to be difficult. To make matters worse, she urgently needs cash in order to enable her father to continue living in his previous residence, from which they threaten to throw him out if he does not pay the rent due.
Corinna now wavers in her determination: Should she continue to cheat, or stand by her change of heart and follow through with it consistently? After a series of deliberations, she makes a decision for herself to compromise: she takes on the role of another person. In her role as the widowed Baroness Rockwell, she intends to sell the family jewelry on the Côte d'Azur for a profit. Her plan does not work out, however, because Corinna unexpectedly gets competition from the big-chested Moni, who is able to wrap the especially male clientele around the finger.
The situation sinks completely into chaos when the right baroness appears at the scene.
