Veltliner

Veltliner is a collective name for several, not closely related white wine varieties . They are especially common in Austria and the neighboring countries. The best known is the Grüner Veltliner , there is also the Red and Early Red Veltliner , which is also known as Malvasier in Austria .

There are also older, qualitatively rather inferior varieties, which were also referred to as Veltliner.
