The Venelle is a river in France that runs through the Grand Est and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions. It rises on the plateau of Langres , in the municipality of Vaillant , generally drains in a southerly direction and flows into the Tille after 33 kilometers in the municipality of Lux as a left tributary . On its way, the Venelle crosses the Haute-Marne and Côte-d'Or departments .
