Véronnes is a French municipality with 396 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côte-d'Or in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dijon and the canton of Is-sur-Tille (until 2015 Selongey ). The inhabitants are called Véronnais .

geography

Véronnes is located around 29 kilometers north-northeast of Dijon on the Venelle . Neighboring communities are Orville in the north, Selongey in the north and north-east, Chazeuil in the north-east, Bourberain in the east and south-east, Lux in the south and Til-Châtel in the west and south-west.

history

In 1972 the municipalities of Véronnes-les-Grandes and Véronnes-les-Petites were merged to form today's municipality.
