Fraignot-et-Vesvrotte is about 38 kilometers north-north-west of Dijon . The river Tille limits the municipality in the northeast. The municipality is surrounded by Beneuvre in the north, Bussières in the east, Avot in the southeast, Barjon in the south, Salives in the west and south-west and Minot in the north-west.
