Savigny-sous-Mâlain is located about 23 kilometers west-northwest of Dijon . The municipality is surrounded by Blaisy-Haut in the north, Baulme-la-Roche in the northeast, Mâlain in the east, Prâlon in the southeast, Mesmont in the south, Sombernon in the southwest, Bussy-la-Pesle in the west and northwest and Blaisy-Bas in the northwest .
