The municipality is located around 25 kilometers west of Dijon . Neighboring municipalities are Turcey in the north, Trouhaut in the northeast, Blaisy-Haut in the east, Savigny-sous-Mâlain in the south, Bussy-la-Pesle in the west and Saint-Hélier in the north-west.

The place is crossed by the upper reaches of the river Oze , which also has its source in the municipality. Blaisy-Bas train station is on the Paris – Marseille line .
