geography

Tillenay is about 25 kilometers southeast of Dijon . The Saône limits the municipality to the east. Tillenay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villers-les-Pots in the north, Auxonne in the east and northeast, Les Maillys in the south, Pont in the west and southwest and Champdôtre in the west.
