geography

Vieilmoulin is about 30 kilometers west of Dijon on the Brenne . The municipality is surrounded by Saint-Mesmin in the north, Sombernon in the east, Échannay in the south, Aubigny-lès-Sombernon in the west and southwest and Saint-Anthot in the west.
