Flavignerot is a French municipality with 184 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côte-d'Or in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Dijon and the canton of Dijon-6 (until 2015: canton of Dijon-5 ).

Flavignerot is about eleven kilometers southwest of Dijon and belongs to the Bourgogne wine-growing region . Flavignerot is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Velars-sur-Ouche in the north and north-west, Corcelles-les-Monts in the north and north-east, Marsannay-la-Côte in the east, Couchey in the south and east, Valforêt with Clémencey in the south-west and Fleurey-sur- Ouche to the west and northwest.
