Couchey is a French commune with 1,130 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côte-d'Or in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Beaune and the Canton Longvic (until 2015: Canton Gevrey-Chambertin ). The inhabitants are called couchois .

Couchey is about eight kilometers southwest of Dijon . Neighboring communities of Couchey are Marsannay-la-Côte in the north, Perrigny-lès-Dijon in the east and northeast, Fixin in the south, Valforêt with Clémencey in the west, Flavignerot in the west and north-west and Corcelles-les-Monts in the north-west.
