Val-Mont is a French municipality with 258 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Côte-d'Or department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Beaune and the canton of Arnay-le-Duc .

It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle by amalgamating the previously independent municipalities Ivry-en-Montagne and Jours-en-Vaux , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Jours-en-Vaux.

Neighboring municipalities are Champignolles in the northwest, Saussey and Montceau-et-Écharnant in the north, Cussy-la-Colonne and Saint-Romain in the east, Baubigny in the southeast, Santosse in the south and Molinot in the southwest.
