Échevronne is a French municipality with 284 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Côte-d'Or department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Beaune and the municipality association Agglomération Beaune Côte et Sud, founded in 2006 .

Échevronne is located in the south of the Côte-d'Or department in the middle of the Côte-d'Or mountains , ten kilometers north of Beaune and about 33 kilometers south-southwest of Dijon . The 8.69 km² municipal area is characterized in the east by a mixture of fields, forests and vineyards, in the west there is a larger forest area with the Forêt d'Échevronne . In the extreme north-west of this forest, Le Télégraphe de Bouilland, at 602 m above sea level, is the highest point in the municipality. The district Changey , which adjoins the village of Échevronne, belongs to the municipality . Échevronne is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Fussey in the north, Marey-lès-Fussey in the northeast, Villers-la-Faye in the east, Magny-lès-Villers in the southeast, Pernand-Vergelesses in the South, Savigny-lès-Beaune in the west and Bouilland in the northwest.

Economy and Infrastructure
There are four farms in Échevronne (cultivation of grain, pulses and oilseeds, cattle, goat and sheep breeding) and 18 winegrowers. The vines are part of the Burgundy wine-growing region . The winemakers in the municipality of Échevronne are allowed to market their wines as Crémant de Bourgogne , Bourgogne Aligoté , Bourgogne Passetoutgrain and Bourgogne Grand Ordinaire .
From Fussey the road D 18 via Échevronne in the ten kilometers of urban remote Beaune , forming a national transportation hub with connections to the A6 autoroute , the autoroute A 31 and the A36 autoroute and a railway station on the Paris-Marseille railway .
