Quincey is a French municipality with 512 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Côte-d'Or department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Beaune and the community association Gevrey-Chambertin et Nuits-Saint-Georges, founded in 2016 .

geography

Quincey is located between the cities of Dijon and Beaune in the 30 kilometers wide Saône Valley . The Meuzin , a tributary of the Dheune, flows through the municipality . Quincey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Agencourt in the north, Gerland in the east, Argilly in the south, Premeaux-Prissey in the west and Nuits-Saint-Georges in the northwest.

The A31 autoroute runs through the municipality of Quincey .
