Chambœuf is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Valforêt with Clémencey in the north and northwest, Brochon in the northeast, Gevrey-Chambertin in the east, Curley and Reulle-Vergy in the south, Ternant in the southwest, Semezanges in the west and southwest and Quemigny-Poisot in the west.
