Ébaty is a French municipality with 256 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Côte-d'Or department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Beaune and the municipality association Agglomération Beaune Côte et Sud, founded in 2006 . The inhabitants are called Ébatelois .
geography
Ébaty is located in the south of the Côte-d'Or department on the border with the Saône-et-Loire department , twelve kilometers south of Beaune and about 18 kilometers north of Chalon-sur-Saône . The community area of 2.13 km² is forest-free with the exception of small remains of alluvial forest and has hardly any height differences. The river Dheune forms the southern boundary of the municipality. No wine is grown in Ébaty, the Burgundy wine-growing region begins on the western municipal boundary. Ébaty is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Puligny-Montrachet in the north, Corcelles-les-Arts in the east, Chaudenay in the south and Corpeau in the west.
