Pagny-la-Ville is located about 37 kilometers south-southeast of Dijon on the Saône . The municipality borders on Bonnencontre to the north, Esbarres to the northeast, Pagny-le-Château to the east, Chamblanc to the south, Labruyère to the west and southwest and Lechâtelet to the west .
