Messanges is a French municipality with 236 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Côte-d'Or department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Beaune and the canton of Longvic (until 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin ). The inhabitants are called Messangeois .

Messanges is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Collonges-lès-Bévy in the north and northwest, Bévy in the north, L'Étang-Vergy in the northeast, Curtil-Vergy in the east and northeast, Segrois in the east, Meuilley in the south and Chevannes in the west.
