Wine-growing area

Fixin (wine region)

Fixin winemakers can choose to sell their wine under the municipality name or as Côte de Nuits-Villages. The wines have a strong resemblance to those of Gevrey-Chambertin , but lack a bit of its luster. Particularly noteworthy among the Premiers Crus are Clos de la Perrière and Clos du Chapitre. Both locations are on the western outskirts.
