Brochon wine region
Brochon does not have its own appellation , although the location is comparable to Gevrey-Chambertin. The southern locations can therefore also be called Gevrey-Chambertin , while the other locations are marketed under the appellation Côte de Nuits -Villages. The exception in the northern locations is a small parcel of the Premier Cru location Clos de la Perrière , which is largely located on the soil of the municipality of Fixin . Wines from this plot are marketed under the AOC Fixin . Pinot noir is cultivated , which is developed into classic wines.
