Lechâtelet is located about 32 kilometers south-southeast of Dijon on the Saône . The municipality borders on Bonnencontre to the north, Pagny-la-Ville to the north and east, Labruyère to the south and south-east , Glanon to the south-west, Auvillars-sur-Saône to the west and Broin to the north-west .
