Corgoloin is a French municipality with 906 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Côte-d'Or in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (Bourgogne).
geography
Corgoloin is the southernmost municipality on the Côte de Nuits . It is 9 kilometers northeast of Beaune and 2 kilometers southwest of Comblanchien , between Autoroute 31 (A31) and Route nationale 74 (N74). The hamlets of Cussigny, Moux and La Chaume belong to Corgoloin. The Corgoloin stop is on the Paris – Marseille railway line .
history
The area around Corgoloin was already settled in Gallo-Roman times . Gallo-Roman artifacts were found during excavations in 1820.

Attractions
The Cussigny castle dates from the first half of the 18th century. It is entered in the supplementary inventory ( inventaire supplémentaire ) of the Monuments historiques ( inscrit MH ). The castle has a park and a garden.
The Saint-Pierre church dates from the 13th century and is also included in the supplementary directory of the Monuments historiques.
The Manoir de Moux mansion dates from the second half of the 15th century and is inscrit MH . It is privately owned.
The Château de la Chaume dates back to the 18th century and is privately owned.
economy
Corgoloin belongs to the Côte de Nuits, where the wine appellation Côtes de Nuits-Villages is made. In 2011 the festival of Saint Vincent tournante took place here. Important branches of business for the Corgolinois are, besides viticulture , aquaculture and agriculture .
