Trugny is a French municipality with 125 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côte-d'Or in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the canton of Brazey-en-Plaine (until 2015 Seurre ) and the Arrondissement of Beaune .

Trugny is located about 42 kilometers south-southeast of Dijon on the Saône . The municipality borders Jallanges to the north and east, Clux-Villeneuve to the south and east , Mont-lès-Seurre to the south-west, Chivres to the west and south-west and Labergement-lès-Seurre to the west .
