The Dheune is a river in France that runs in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in the Saône-et-Loire and Côte-d'Or departments . It rises in the municipality of Saint-Julien-sur-Dheune from the Étang de Montaubry , at an altitude of 270 meters. It generally drains to the northeast, then swings south and flows into the Saône after 67 kilometers above Allerey-sur Saône as a right tributary . The Dheune is in its upper reaches to Chagny from the ship channel Canal du Center as a side channel analysis and is also used for water supply of the canal.
