Vaux-Saules is a French municipality with 168 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côte-d'Or in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dijon and the canton of Is-sur-Tille ( Saint-Seine-l'Abbaye until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Saulivallois .

Vaux-Saules is about 22 kilometers northwest of Dijon . Vaux-Saules is surrounded by Pellerey in the north and north-west, Lamargelle in the north and north-east, Francheville in the east, Saint-Martin-du-Mont in the south, Saint-Seine-l'Abbaye in the south and south-west, Champagny in the west and south-west as well Poncey-sur-l'Ignon to the west and north-west.
