Francheville is a French municipality with 285 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côte-d'Or in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dijon and the canton of Is-sur-Tille ( Saint-Seine-l'Abbaye until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Franchevillais .

geography

Francheville is about 24 kilometers north-northwest of Dijon . The municipality is surrounded by Lamargelle and Frénois in the north, Courtivron in the north and northeast, Vernot in the northeast, Curtil-Saint-Seine in the east, Val-Suzon in the south and southeast, Saint-Martin-du-Mont and Vaux-Saules in the west and northwest.
