Fontenelle is a French municipality with 165 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côte-d'Or in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Dijon and the canton of Saint-Apollinaire (until 2015 Fontaine-Française ).

Fontenelle is about 42 kilometers northeast of Dijon . The Canal de Bourgogne limits the municipality to the east.
