Team Lazarus

The Team Lazarus is an Italian auto racing -Rennstall. He has been competing in the Auto GP World Series since 2009 and will also take part in the GP2 series as Venezuela GP Lazarus from 2012 .

history

Team Lazarus was founded in 2009 by Tancredi Pagiaro . Pagiaro previously worked for GP Racing , which he founded in 1997.

In the debut season , the Lazarus team started in the Euroseries 3000 . The team took part in the season opener with Michael Herck and Diego Nunes . Then Michael Dalle Stelle drove two races. The team did not take part in the second half of the season. A fourth place was the best result of the racing team, which reached seventh place in the team classification.

In 2010 , the Lazarus team stayed in the racing series, which was called Auto GP from this season on . Fabio Onidi was the team's only pilot. He was third on the podium four times. Lazarus was sixth in the team ranking. For the 2011 Auto GP season , the team changed its name to Lazarus and fielded two vehicles. In addition to Onidi, who stayed in the team, Fabrizio Crestani was signed . Onidi scored the first win and the only win for Lazarus of the season. With a total of seven podium finishes, the team improved to third place in the team ranking.

In 2012 Lazarus will be competing again in the Auto GP, which will be called the Auto GP World Series from this season on. In addition, Lazarus received a starting place in the GP2 series , in which the team will start as Venezuela GP Lazarus in the 2012 season .

In 2013 Lazarus started in GP2 with drivers René Binder and Kevin Giovesi .
