Verderio Inferiore ( Lombard Verdé de Sot ) is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Verderio in the province of Lecco , Lombardy region .

The place is about 20 km southeast of the provincial capital Lecco and 30 km northeast of the metropolis of Milan , on the orographic right side of the river Adda at 249 m slm
history
From 1905 to January 2014 Verderio Inferiore was an independent municipality. In February 2014, Verderio Inferiore merged with the municipality of Verderio Superiore to form the municipality of Verderio, which was dissolved in 1905. As of December 31, 2013, Verderio Inferiore had 3,069 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 803 inhabitants per km³ over an area of around 3.82 km².
