Vergilov Ridge (English; Bulgarian Вергилов хребет Wergilow chrebet ) is an undersea ridge in the South Bay of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It extends in a southeast-northwest orientation over a length of 3.5 km and at sea depths of 50 to 100 m. It is the terminal moraine of the Perunika Glacier .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2012 based on the naming of the neighboring Vergilov Rocks . It is named after Slatil Wergilow (* 1958), a member of the team that erected the first building of the St. Kliment-Ohridski station in 1988.
