Vernon Morgan
Vernon Eversfield Morgan (born May 2, 1904 in Bucklow Hill , Cheshire , † October 23, 1992 in Wisborough Green , West Sussex ) was a British obstacle runner and journalist .
At the Olympic Games in 1928 he eliminated over 3000 m obstacle in the preliminary run, and at the British Empire Games in 1930 in Hamilton he won bronze for England starting over two mile obstacles.
He later became the sports editor for Reuters news agency .
