Veronika Netzhammer

Veronika Netzhammer (born January 13, 1952 in Achern ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament from 1996 to 2011.

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Achern, Veronika Netzhammer studied economics and business education at the University of Mannheim until 1977 . She then worked as a teacher at the commercial school in Radolfzell on Lake Constance until 1996 . At the same time, she completed part-time English studies in Mannheim, which she completed with an exam in 1986.

The banker Clemens Börsig is her brother.

politics

In 1990 Netzhammer was elected to the local council of Singen (Hohentwiel) , where she has been chairwoman of the CDU parliamentary group since 1994. Since the same year she has been a member of the district council of the district of Constance . From 1996 to 2011 she was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg. Netzhammer represented constituency 57 (singing) and was chair of the economic committee.

At the 2010 nomination meeting, it was not drawn up for the 2011 state election . With 222 votes to 174, the CDU members decided on the challenger Wolfgang Reuther .
